Nepal visa: who needs one and how to get it
A Nepal visa is permission from the Government of Nepal to enter and stay for a stated purpose and period. Most foreign passport holders need a visa. Indian citizens generally do not. Many other nationalities can get a tourist visa on arrival or complete the Nepal visa on arrival online form before flying.

How most travelers enter Nepal
Tourists commonly use visa on arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu and at designated land borders. Completing the official online arrival form before you land speeds up immigration. Restricted nationalities cannot use visa on arrival and must apply at a Nepali mission abroad.
