- Valid passport (6+ months validity)
- Completed online arrival form or through a kisok at the airport
- Visa fee in USD (Cash/Card)
- If restricted, apply at a Nepali mission abroad before travel

Gratis Visa (No visa fee)
Following people are excempt from paying visa fees. They still have to complete the rest of the visa application process.
- Children Under 10 for up to 30 days (expect US citizens)
- SAARC citizens for up to 30 days (Afghan national need recommendation from DoI)
- Chinese Nationals for up to 150 days
- Non-Residential Nepalese(NRN) citizenship or card holders issued by Ministery of Foreign Affairs

While passport holders of most countries can obtain a Visa on Arrival, citizens of the following countries have to apply for visa in advance through a Nepalese Embassy.
