Nepal visa on arrival and the online form

Nepal visa on arrival lets eligible travelers receive a tourist visa at the airport or land border. Fill the official online arrival / visa form before travel, save or print the receipt, then pay the visa fee and give biometrics or photos as instructed at immigration.

How to complete the Nepal visa on arrival online form

  1. Open the Department of Immigration’s current portal (commonly Nepaliport / immigration.gov.np — use the link published on the official site, not a third-party copy).
  2. Enter passport details, arrival date, flight or border point, and address in Nepal exactly as they appear on your ticket and hotel booking.
  3. Submit the form and download or screenshot the confirmation with barcode or application number.
  4. Carry the confirmation, your passport, passport photos if still required, and funds for the visa fee.
  5. At immigration, join the visa-on-arrival line, pay, and receive the visa stamp or sticker.

The online form is not the visa itself. Officers can still refuse entry if documents, funds, or purpose are not in order. Completing it only shortens the queue.
